I kind really have not been excited with a lot of beauty products that have been released as of late. I would walk in to Sephora and grab a liquid lipstick, and I would just end up leaving it, “thinking do I really need another one?”. There has been no excitement until, I started seeing the new Modern Renaissance Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills all over Instagram and on Youtube. I did how ever wait on getting this palette, because I wanted to hear reviews on it.I did and i bit the bullet and purchased this palette.
It comes packaged with a pinky velvety exterior (same as the original Urban Decay Naked palette), not the standard cardboard like all her other palettes. I do see this palette getting dirty very quickly. That doesn’t bother me though. This palette contains 14 shades of neutral and berry tones. It has 3 metallic shades and 11 matte shades. There are 3 shades that you can buy individually – Warm Taupe, Buon Fresco and Burnt Orange. and the rest are unique to this palette. I think it’s a such a versatile palette. It also comes with a brush which is ok, it is not the greatest of brushes.
This palette pays homage to the Modern Renaissance period in the form of the names. So that is pretty neat I think

The formula has improved in this palette, it is more buttery, smooth and really pigmented. So you can experience a bit of fall out, that does not bother me. I own the Tamanna palette and you can tell the quality is just better over all.
This palette retails for $42.00 it is her most expensive palette to date. It is also the only palette to that has been made permanent. I think that says a lot about the quality of this palette.
I swatched the shades on my bare arm using my finger with no primer . Keep in mind swatches on ones are different to that on your eyes. This is just to give you an idea on the swatches look.
I say pick this palette, it is worth every penny.
If you own it let me know how you feel about it
